US corn development continues to accelerate ahead of average, reaching 57% mature, 10 percentage points ahead of the long-term average. The condition of corn also gained last week, with now 59% of corn rated good and excellent. With the US harvest underway and corn conditions improving, corn has again been under pressure today. US soybean development is also remaining ahead of average, with 58% dropping leaves or harvested, again 10 percentage points ahead of average. Oilseeds have received a degree of support today, with Paris rapeseed pushing above €600/t again. Winter wheat planting is also ahead of average in the US, reaching 21% complete of the expected area, marginally ahead of the 18% long-term average.
